Three of the top scorers in fantasy football for the 10th week of the season played for the Dallas Cowboys.
Dak Prescott topped all NFL players with 56.5 points – based on a standard PPR league scoring system. Prescott is averaging over 41 points over the last four weeks.
CeeDee Lamb was third-highest with 46.1 and is averaging 38.5 points per game over the last month.
Brandin Cooks was fifth with 41.45 points against the Giants. If you failed to start him don't feel too bad.
So did I and it cost me a win and possession of first place in my division.
Offensive Eruption
Prescott's four-game run has pushed him to the top slot fantasy scoring-wise for all Cowboys' players at 264.45 points.
He is seventh among all NFL quarterbacks – just ahead of Patrick Mahomes.
Lamb has 229 points for the year to rank second in scoring for Dallas. Lamb is now third among all receivers behind Tyreek Hill and A.J. Brown.
Cooks nearly doubled his entire season's output over the first nine weeks with his huge game on Sunday.
The Cowboys' defense is third at 192.7 following a 23.6-point effort against the Giants.
The defensive unit ranks second in fantasy only to the Ravens. They trail Baltimore by just five points and the Ravens still have a bye week upcoming.
Tony Pollard is fourth at 123.55. No other Cowboys player is above 100 points for the season.
Pollard has slipped to 25th among NFL running backs in fantasy scoring.
Rico Dowdle had 17.9 points in Week 10. Michael Gallup added 15.75 points.
Jake Ferguson was the only other Cowboys player to reach double digits with 11.25 points.
Ferguson's 85.5 points is 10th-best among tight ends.
Rookie Jalen Brooks had 6.75 points. It is the first week he has tallied any fantasy football points this year.
Brandon Aubrey is tied for third overall with 93 points among NFL kickers after his seven-point week.
Trade Court Judge Goes Ex Parte
The Trade Court had technically closed for the year – thinking that all trading was likely done. But a surprise case arose and brought the Judge running back to chambers.
A trade was offered sending Raiders tight end Michael Mayer for Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent.
The Bagent owner was the recipient of the offer and may have set a world record for accepting a trade.
The Judge agrees with the decision. Despite this being a dynasty format, the Judge cannot fathom why anyone would offer this deal.
Mayer has significant long-term upside. Bagent may not have a job in the NFL next year.
My FFL
Apparently, my three teams think they are the Three Musketeers.
If one team loses the other two find ways to lose too. If one wins, the others do too.
I'm all for the “All for one and one for all” mindset but this is ridiculous.
All three lost this week, all but eliminating two from the playoffs. One team remains one-half game back of the division lead.
Should be interesting to see how the final four weeks of the season play out. Of note, it's the team that leads the league in scoring but sits at 5-7.
Between playing the top-scoring team for the week seven times, and my brilliant decision not to start Cooks this week, it is hard to win a game.
I've made the playoffs every year since 2015. I'm hoping not to end that streak just yet.
