The NFL's top 100 players of 2022, voted on by the players, began to release on Sunday, August 14. CeeDee Lamb (95), Tyron Smith (91), and Zack Martin (68) were the first three Cowboys players revealed last weekend.
The players ranked 50 through 21 were unveiled this past Sunday, with Dak Prescott (44) and All-Pro corner Trevon Diggs (23) finding their place on the list as predicted last week. When I wrote about the first set of rankings, I noted that we should see three additional players round out this list, Prescott, Diggs, and Micah Parsons, who we should see on the list this Sunday when the final ranking is released.

The final top 20 players on the list will be shown Sunday, August 28, during a three-hour finale beginning at 7 p.m. CT. That is when we will learn where the unanimous defensive rookie of the year will land. Parsons was the best player on the roster last year, and I am glad players around the league noticed that. If he does not have a spot, the list will lose the little credibility that it has left.
The list is just that; I was never a massive fan of them. Plenty of great players get left off each year; some had a better season than those on the list, but Prescott and Diggs deserve to be on the list.
I would have had Prescott higher than Diggs. Dallas is lucky they haven't had to search for a quarterback every year like most. Diggs had an incredible season, and again these are voted on by the players who take the field with them; they know the players better than we fans do.
I will take 11 extra possessions for the offense by one player each season. He is a ball hawk; most heard Jalen Ramsey say it himself. Diggs could be a bit more patient, and that would help, but he was terrific last season, and you would be crazy to say you would accept the same year from him again.
