#1. Dak Prescott, QB

To say the Dallas lucked into finding their future signal caller in the fourth round of the , is an understatement. Dak Prescott not only came in and replaced one of the best QBs in franchise for the Cowboys (), but he ended up having one of the best seasons by a in the history of the league.

With Tony Romo’s , this is now without a doubt Prescott’s team and they will live and die by how well he performs. Like it or not, that’s just the way things go when you play the quarterback position in the NFL. They unfortunately have to shoulder the blame no matter how the rest of the team performs.

Luckily, Prescott is a big/physical QB that is built to take the pounding he will receive game after game. He also has the added benefit of playing behind arguably the best in the entire NFL, who paved the way for the best rushing attack in the league.

To put things bluntly though, if Dak Prescott misses any amount of time, this team is doomed. As things stand right now, is his backup. Although he is a solid backup QB, the won’t function nearly as well with him in the lineup.

Do you agree or disagree with my 5 irreplaceable Cowboys players?

What do you think?
