#DALvsPHI: Inactive Players for Cowboys-Eagles Week 8 Matchup

The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will soon be kicking off in their Week 8 matchup on Sunday Night Football. The winner will take sole control of the NFC East, but both teams will be competing with key players inactive tonight.

The Cowboys’ biggest injury happened a few weeks ago when they lost starting QB Dak Prescott. Now they will be without Andy Dalton after a concussion injury last week, making rookie third-stringer Ben DiNucci the starter tonight.

The Eagles still have their starting quarterback for now, but other offensive injuries could limit what Carson Wentz can do. He will be missing two key weapons in WR Alshon Jeffery and RB Miles Sanders.

The biggest absence for Philly may be on the offensive line though in starting right tackle Lane Johnson. His backup Jack Driscoll is also out, which could put Wentz in harm’s way all night.

The Cowboys other inactives beyond Dalton aren’t that noteworthy. Luke Gifford is going to the bench because Sean Lee is making his season debut.

It’s a bit surprising that DB Reggie Robinson isn’t getting to play tonight after the team released Daryl Worley. However, Dallas called Saivion Smith from the practice squad and it appears he and prospect Steven Parker will be getting the work that Worley left behind.
