2 players that may have career games against the Cowboys on Sunday

This week’s Sunday Night Football game features two of the most banged up teams in the league.

The Dallas Cowboys are fresh off their bye week on the road to Santa Clara to take on a team that they just can’t beat.

The Injury report for both teams is probably better than what each will be putting on the field on Sunday night, and honestly, I wish they would have flexed this game out of this window and let two others teams take it.

This is going to go one of two ways.

The Dallas Cowboys are going to somehow win this football game, and nobody will care because of the injuries to the 49ers, which is fair, or Dallas is going to turn the depth players on San Frans team into Hall Of Fame players for one night.

Ricky Pearsall

The 49ers lost Brandon Aiyuk for the season last week, and All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey has been sidelined by Achilles tendinitis since August.

Deebo Samuel was just released from the hospital two days ago after spending two nights there with pneumonia, and Jauan Jennings has been out with a hip injury that could force him to miss a second straight game.

With a possibility that the 49ers don’t have maybe their top three offensive guys, that leaves the rookie Ricky Pearsall to be the guy for them against the Cowboys if they don’t go.

Pearsall had three catches for 21 yards in his debut, while playing 48 snaps on offense in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

There were also some mix-ups, including a bad route he ran on his first target of the game that went for an incompletion late in the first half.

Yet, something tells me that Pearsall might break the single game yards record against the Cowboys because, well, that is what happens when playing Dallas is every team’s Super Bowl.

Isaac Guerendo

I am thinking exactly what you are thinking. Who is this guy? Well, I had to do some research on him also, but without CMC right now and with the status of Jordan Mason up in the air, this is who would be running the rock if he can’t go.

Guerendo has 22 carries for 123 yards on 16 carries as the primary backup running back this season, and if Mason can’t go, I am sure Kyle Shanahan is going to find a way to figure out how to turn this guy into Barry Sanders for one night only against the Dallas Cowboys.

Mike Zimmer and this defense has a huge problem at stopping the run, and teams that run a lot of motion like the Saints did, and the 49ers do hurts them so bad.

Even without their best players, the Dallas Cowboys are honestly probably going to lose this game and if they do, changes need to be made.

This bye week has already been crazy enough with Jerry Jones opening his mouth about firing reporters for ask why he didn’t get this team better, and how Derrick Henry wouldn’t fit this offense.

He is losing any credibility he has left.

The Dallas Cowboys have zero excuse to not win this game on Sunday night. They still have Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.

I understand the 49ers defense is still great, and not missing much, but that offense on the other side of the ball is not going to be good!

The bottom line is, the Dallas Cowboys might turn these two depth players into Jerry Rice and Barry Sanders on Sunday Night Football for the world to see.
