The end of the 2017 season was a tumultuous one for the Dallas Cowboys, but it may not have been more difficult on anyone than it was on quarterback Dak Prescott. After losing his stud left tackle and All-Pro running back, Prescott was destroyed in Atlanta, setting the tone for a lackluster end to 2017.
Prescott is still the unquestioned QB1 in Dallas, but many are claiming that 2018 is a “prove it” year for the young quarterback.
Clearly, Dak Prescott is aware of how important this upcoming season is, and it also appears that he’s read the Tweets. Prescott took to Instagram this weekend to address some of the heat he’s taken lately, vowing that he will use it as fuel in 2018.
Prescott posted this photo with the caption “I’d Pay them to Keep Hating! I love it!” He also included the hashtag “Doubt Me,” addressing all of those who are claiming the Cowboys need to bring in another quarterback to compete with him for his spot.
I still believe in Dak Prescott as the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, and I hope he is able to continue to improve and use his doubters as fuel to future greatness. Time will tell how all of this will play out.
