The close of the 2018 regular season has left 20 teams already looking ahead to next year. Thankfully, our Dallas Cowboys aren’t among them. But even though the playoffs are still ahead, the NFL has already revealed the home and away opponents for each team’s 2019 schedule.
The Cowboys will have their usual six games against their division rivals. In 2019, the NFC East will be taking on the teams from the NFC North and AFC East.
As the division champions this year, Dallas will also face the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams as winners from the other two NFC divisions.
Outside of their annual home and away games against the Eagles, Giants, and Redskins, here are the other games by location:
- HOME: Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings
- AWAY: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets
The full weekly schedule will not be released until sometime in April, usually a few weeks before the NFL Draft.
You never know what the next year will bring, so analysis of this list isn’t worth much today. But still, it’s interesting to able to look forward and at least monitor what some of these 2019 opponents are up to during the offseason.
