Dallas Cowboys’ free agents seem to be finding new homes left and right, however, one of the organization’s long-time veterans is staying in Big D.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Linebacker Sean Lee has agreed to a one-year, 4.5 million dollar deal (2 million guaranteed) with the Cowboys.
Lee was once considered to be one of the best linebackers in the league, however, injuries kept him on the sidelines more often than anyone would like to see. 2019 was different, though, as Lee played in 16 games for the first time in his career. He finished with 86 tackles and provided much-needed help at linebacker when Leighton Vander Esch was shelved with a neck injury. Now, “The General” as he’s known is back with the Cowboys for at least one more season.
