Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat? Wouldn’t you think my collection’s complete?

Wouldn’t you think we’re the team, the team that has – everything?!

Cole Beasley is awesome, isn’t he? #11 isn’t just a fan-favorite… he’s a straight up baller when it comes to being a professional wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys.

What makes Cole special is his unique playing style. It doesn’t matter that he is listed at 5’8″, he attacks defenders as if he’s the biggest and strongest player on the planet. Some members of Cowboys Nation like to refer to him as “Beastly” and that nickname perfectly embodies his scrappy disposition.

For the better part of the last decade Jason Witten has served as this team’s safety blanket/primary check-down option. The latest set of data suggests that this job is now occupied by Cole Beasley, and that he’s very good at it.

Cowboys Headlines - A Cole New World: Beasley Set To Dominate The Bears 1

Current Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has taken quite a liking to the talents Cole brings to the table. Through two games Dak has targeted Cole Beasley a staggering 18 times, and he’s connected with him successfully on 13 of those attempts.

Later today Dak and Cole will line up against the Chicago Bears. One could argue that Chi City hasn’t faced a duo, they’ve played Houston and Philadelphia, with the shiftiness and quick-striking force that Dak and Cole possess. The middle of the field is already vulnerable for the Bears as Linebacker Danny Trevathan won’t even be on it.

Cowboys Headlines - A Cole New World: Beasley Set To Dominate The Bears

Dak Prescott has demonstrated an insane ability to be smart with the football. He has yet to throw an interception through his first 75 career attempts, an NFL record, and a lot of that can be attributed to his tendency to find Beasley in open-field situations.

The Bears, speaking as kindly as possible here, simply cannot hang with the Cowboys pass-catchers. Dez Bryant by himself is going to command all the attention those cuddly little Bears can put together. Cole Beasley is going to, as he usually does, slip by them and surprise the world with a career-high performance against a team that is incapable of realizing how lethal he truly is.

Sit back and have a #DakAndCole. Whether you like it straight up or on the rocks, I can guarantee it’s going to go down smooth.
