A few Cowboys facts you might not know!

Throughout the season I will be posting some facts and Trivia Questions. Hopefully each week! Feel free to leave comments and answers to the trivia questions. Hopefully some of these are ones you don’t know!

  • Terrence Newman was not beaten for a Touchdown catch at anytime during the 2005 season!
  • Terry Glenn caught 62 passes in 2005, 49 were for first downs.
  • Miles Austin finished his college career at Monmouth in 2005, he left as the school’s All-Time leader with 150 catches, 2,867 yards receiving, and 33 TD’s.
  • Miles Austin once threw a Javelin 214 feet, 8 inches in high school, the 2nd longest throw in Bergen County history!(double pass play in the future???)
  • Sam Hurd set a Northern Illinois school record with 266 receiving yards against Central Michigan in 2005.
  • Marion Barber scored all 5 of his TD’s as a rookie in a 3 game stretch.
  • Jason Witten set a Cowboy’s record in 2004 with 87 receptions for 980 yards!
