Staff writer Jess Haynie announced earlier last week that Damien Wilson would be starting at SAM linebacker. At first, I was skeptical, but figured he couldn’t play much worse than some of the other backers which have cycled through this year.
Wilson had a fantastic game, however, and proved all of his doubters wrong. This play is amazingly athletic, as he spins off the cut block and comes up with the sack.
Let’s hope for more of this from Wilson in the future.
