Sure, taking the Seattle defense looks sexy, but really, you can take a defense in the 2nd to last round based on week 1 match-up and be fine! In each draft, I’ll wait to take a DEF or K until the last 2 rounds; way too many good players and you can just stream defenses vs bad offenses all year.

If you get good value though, sure you can draft a SEA or DEN but in my opinion it’s much smarter and so much easier to just stream Ds vs say the Raiders or Texans. Personally, I like the Browns vs PIT week 1 so I’m taking them in the 2nd to last round and have no problem dropping them for week 2 when they play the Saints.

Also, taking Prater or Tucker may look like a good decision, but there are so many late round guys that’ll do way more for your team than a kicker that can potentially score a couple more points than the guy I take in the last round. I think Philly’s offense will score a ton and Alex Henery is almost always available in the last round, so he’s my guy.

  1. Really wish I would have read this before I drafted this morning. Passed on Rudolph for not knowing much about him. Did manage to get Romo and Seahawks D though. Good read bro.
