Ereck Flowers is a straight up mauler in the run game and has the athleticism to get to the 2nd level.
- He has a massive frame at 6’6 ¼ 329lbs with 34 1/2″ arms yet carries himself extremely well
- Posted a ridiculous 37 reps of 225lbs at the combine (tops among OL)
- Ran a 5.29 40 time
- Had a very impressive 1.78 10 yard split on his 2nd run
His footwork in pass protection is good but he can get sloppy with his upper body, and he needs to improve his strength. Flowers is obviously very weight room strong but he needs some more coaching to translate that strength in pass protection.
He can get beat by some of the speedier guys and he’s not a polished prospect, but at just 20 years old he has the room he needs for improvement and a ton of potential.
NFL Network’s Mike Mayock believes Flowers is a “future Pro Bowler at right tackle.” He simply possess all the tools needed to be great and would be scary on Dallas’ offensive line.
