It was a good week in Cowboys land last week, and we touched a bit on that on Cowboys Cast 14. With Dez Bryant signing a long-term deal that, while not making him a Dallas Cowboy for life, does ensure Dez won’t be sitting out any games in 2015, we’ve got the latest details and some pretty handy speculation about how his numbers measure up to some other top wideouts in the league.

Also, there are a handful of guys whose contracts will have to be written between now and the start of the 2016 season, so with Dez locked up for a while, who can the Cowboys get locked up? Bobby, Jared, Josh, and Jamie discuss the options and top priorities moving forward.

Plus, a special little surprise for Tony Romo & Brett Favre lovers out there.

  • Dez Bryant got his contract extension, and it appears to be a bargain for Cowboys fans. Bobby, Jamie, Jared, and Josh talk about it.
  • Now that Dez is extended, who is next in line for a payday? We talk it over.
  • Packers fan Jamie Kelly plays a game of “Favre or Romo?”

And a side-note regarding the announced airing of the Drew Pearson interview this coming Sunday on Cowboys Cast 15. Looks like we’re gonna have to reschedule again…

We’re going to continue working on catching up with Mr. Pearson and when/if we get the interview recorded, then we’ll announce the date the show will actually air. Please accept our apologies. Saying we’re going to do something and not following through is the last thing we ever want to do. It’s happened twice now (with Drew Pearson and Ron Leary), so we’ll play it a little tighter moving forward with interview commitments. Thanks for listening!
