Despite being one of the more maligned Dallas Cowboys in recent memory, safety Alan Ball appears to still be cashing those NFL-famous checks.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Alan Ball would be cast on CBS’ Survivor television program, which enters its 35th season (thirty-five!?!). Ball, who was drafted in the seventh round of the 2007 draft by the Cowboys, bounced around the league for a few seasons before finally being let go on an injury settlement by the Arizona Cardinals in 2016.

Alan Ball graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and is still just 32 years old.

Ball did not enjoy too much on-field success during his Cowboys’ career, but I am certainly glad to see him continuing to shine in other fields.

Hopefully, he can represent Cowboys Nation and win the reality show. Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s how Survivor works.
