BUZZ: CBS Says Goodbye to Dan & Shannon; Hello Tony

[pull_quote_right]…One of the most respected and hardworking players in the NFL and a tremendous teammate.[/pull_quote_right]According to CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus, the network is looking for the “fresh and insightful perspective” recently retired and NFL Hall of Fame shoe-in Tony Gonzalez has to offer.

Given that Marino and Sharpe have been out of the league for 15 years and 11 years, respectively, I’d say Mr. McManus is on to something. Though this is no doubt a ratings grab as the network struggles to keep up with its Fox Sports counterpart on game day.

Not a big fan of the CBS or NBC pregame shows myself, but what do you think of the change?

Will Tony Gonzalez freshen the show?

Sound-off on today’s #BUZZNation with your comments.

What do you think?
