[tps_title]Cowboys 2017 Mock Draft: Round 2, 60th overall[/tps_title]
Carl Lawson, DE, Auburn
Matt Miller has Carl Lawson ranked as his 68th player so technically he is still available at 60 for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm higher on Lawson that a lot of people are and don't think he will be available this late, but if he is I will absolutely jump at the chance to draft him.
I personally think that Lawson is the most pro-ready out of all of the 2017 defensive end prospects, with maybe the exception of Myles Garrett. He is equally as good against the run as he is as a pass rusher and already has a pass rushing repertoire to instantly make an impact in the NFL.
Lawson does however have a history with injuries while at Auburn, which is why he may have been ranked so low by Miller in the first place. If his medicals checked out at the NFL combine, he would absolutely be a steal for the Cowboys at the end of the second round.
