Cowboys acquire Chris Greenwood from Lions

The Dallas Cowboys have introduced Chris Greenwood to their 53-man roster.

The Cowboys took Greenwood from the lions, and he is likely to take Anthony Spencer’s spot. Spencer ha a knee injury that may require micro-fracture surgery that would put him on the sidelin

es for the rest of the season.

Greenwood was a fifth-round pick by the Lions in 2012. He was released by the Lions the week prior to regular season, then he was signed back to their practice quad.

Greenwood was also one of the Cowboys’ 30 pre-draft visits last season.

The Cowboys signed defensive tackle Drake Nevis on Tuesday after releasing Jerome Lane.
