Cowboys CB Orlando Scandrick Injured in Victory Over Giants

Cornerback Orlando Scandrick left in the first half of Dallas' season-opening victory over the with a hand . He did not return to the game, and the latest update on his condition is not good news.

According to the Cowboys own sideline reporter Kristi Scales:

Scandrick had struggled with health the last few seasons. While he didn't miss many games last year, Orlando was bothered with injuries that at times limited his performance. He missed all of 2015 with a severe injury to his knee.

Assuming Scandrick will miss time with this latest issue, and will be relied on as the starters. Rookie should take over as the slot cornerback.  It will also call for rookie and newly-acquired veteran to be ready to play; neither dressed for tonight's game.

What do you think?
