Patrick Surtain and #1 Alabama vs LSU 7:00 pm on CBS

Though Farley has been the player that's been mocked to the Cowboys the most recently, there's certainly a debate to be had for the number one in the draft in 2021. Alabama Cornerback Patrick Surtain is absolutely in the conversation as a player the Cowboys could select.

If taken in the 2021 draft, he'd pair nicely with another Alabama cornerback turned pro in . Coming from an Alabama system that asks their players to be flexible enough to play in multiple defensive schemes.

With the turnover expected in the secondary for the Cowboys in te , they'll certainly be taking a cornerback or two in the draft, it's just a matter of how high and which ones.

Kyle Pitts and #6 Florida vs Tennessee 2:30 pm CBS

Much like , it's unlikely and probably unreasonable to select a with a top five pick in the NFL Draft. The bust rate on tight ends is incredibly high at a position that generally struggles with its transition to the NFL. In addition to that, the Cowboys look to be pretty solid on their two deep depth chart with the emerging Dalton Schultz and the returning Blake Jarwin.

That said, Kyle Pitts is a fascinating player and looks to have the receiving ability to make the jump at the next level. In 2020, Pitts is averaging 17.5 yards per reception on 29 catches, has 513 yards and 11 touchdowns while missing some time.
