Cowboys Football 2014, DCN Is Ready

It’s a bit premature to be excited about football again. There’s still the draft the end of this coming week, then OTAs and training camp and the awful tease of the preseason –  it’s a long way still to go for that September 7th regular season and home opener against San Francisco; but it’s never too early to get ready.

So we’ve gone through some changes and some updates here on DCN all in the hopes of being ready for what comes next.

  • New streamlined and well-contrasted new design
  • Updated homepage to show you what you came here to see
  • Improved social networking integration for sharing your favorite articles with friends
  • Newly integrated slideshows for the all important lists
  • Faster page speeds so you spend less time waiting
  • Uber-awesome Mega Menu for your browsing pleasure
  • Exciting new commenting system that offers versatile log in options and effortless comment sharing, liking and replies

Perhaps less fun to mention, but equally important, is an updated privacy policy so you know what we do with your information. But we’ve also introduced the new Love This button on the homepage and every article. You just don’t always have the time or availability to deal with sharing an article on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or Google+ and I get that; so give us some Love as a quick way to say thanks without the fuss of logging in or editing a link.

As always, thank you for visiting us each day and keeping us going. Don’t forget to tip your server (and by that I of course mean sharing, loving, and commenting to your favorite contributors).

What do you think?
