Cowboys Hold Visit, COVID Testing With OL Ron Leary

According to Cowboys insider , Dallas held a visit for offensive lineman this week, and he is undergoing COVID testing with the team.

Ron Leary spent his first five NFL seasons with the Cowboys, starting at when their was at their best back in 2014. Leary left in to join the in 2017, as the Cowboys expected La'el Collins to replace him at guard for the future.

The Cowboys are dealing with some severe offensive line troubles right now. Starting La'el Collins is on IR, is a game-time decision for tomorrow's battle with the Falcons, and even backup swing is hurt.

Ron Leary would be a welcomed addition to a Cowboys offensive line which needs depth right now.

You knoe having him inside for depth could be a great signing. Don’t forget Connor Williams can move out to tackle which would help in that scenario. I say our 5 starters with Biadsz, McGovern, Leary, Knight and Serving(when he returns, Steele in the meantime) and I’m feeling much more better about our OL

Well he was hurt in 2017/2018/2019 but if he is healthy he could definately help us. He is a J Looney level player so we could do worse. He has exp. playing with Smith/Martin and could very well start some games for us this yr He could turn out to be a good timely pick up.

I guess Leary would help overall, but the Tackle position is a more pressing need right now.
