The Dallas Cowboys are in the middle of an emotional week thanks to Tony Romo’s speech on Tuesday, but they are in the middle of a season (one they’re dominating) and have to move on. Jason Garrett and the Cowboys are managing yet another injury, Geoff Swaim suffered a torn pectoral muscle in Sunday’s win in Pittsburgh, and they have since placed Tight End Geoff Swaim on IR.

On Tuesday the Dallas Cowboys promoted Vince Mayle to the active roster from the Practice Squad, and that makes a lot of sense considering he’s a great blocker. Swaim has been a big reason why the Cowboys have been able to run the ball so effectively.
Injuries are no stranger to the 8-1 2016 Dallas Cowboys. They’ve fought tooth and nail despite many different hurdles, and Swaim’s is no different. Jason Garrett and his staff, as they have, will find a way.
