The Cowboys’ offensive line faces the most uncertainty it has in recent memory, but the unit is coming together now with roster cuts coming in. After holding his own as a tackle at the end of the 2016 season, and being worked as a left guard through this training camp, the Cowboys have cut OL Emmett Cleary.

Cleary’s release seemingly opens the door for Jonathan Cooper to start at LG for the Cowboys, as Chaz Green will be needed as a backup tackle along with Byron Bell – who beats out Cleary for a backup spot at both guard and tackle, with much more starting experience under his belt.

Inside The Star will continue to keep you updated with the Cowboys’ ongoing roster cut down to 53 members of America’s Team.
