The Dallas Cowboys released receiver Donovan Kemp on Thursday.

Kemp never played an NFL regular season game with the Cowboys.

He suffered a torn cruciate ligament in his left knee during training camp last August, and was placed on the Cowboys reserve list.

Kemp signed with the club as an undrafted agent last year. He played at DeSoto High School and UTEP before he joined the Cowboys.
