After Jerry Jones assured Cowboys Nation that rookie WR Noah Brown would make this team, the Cowboys have shuffled the receiver position to likely include Brown in place of the just-released Andy Jones and now Lance Lenoir.

Lance Lenoir was signed as a UDFA to be another pass catcher through training camp and the preseason, and he quickly became a favorite target of fellow UDFA Cooper Rush – who’s play will likely also put him on Dallas’ 53 man roster.

Where Lenoir struggled in the preseason was on special teams, never looking comfortable fielding punts or returning kicks. Ideally, he is still a guy the Cowboys could still attempt to add back to their practice squad as a steady pass catcher with NFL traits.
