The Cowboys did a slight roster shuffle today, waiving wide receiver Ed Eagan and signing offensive lineman Mike McQueen.
Eagan, an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern State University of Louisiana, was one of the early dark horse darlings for many fans. He was seen as a potential slot receiver and return option. With fellow rookie Andy Jones making headlines in Oxnard, though, Eagan was likely not in contention for a roster spot.
Mike McQueen was waived by San Diego on Monday. He is also an undrafted rookie, having signed with the Chargers immediately after the draft.
McQueen played mostly offensive tackle at Ohio University and has the body for it, listed at 6’6″ and 297 lbs. He also some experience at guard.
