Everywhere you look, every blog, every twitter account, everyone is coming up with a mock draft.  Well, why should only the people who have media platforms have a stab at it?

Cowboys Nation is proudly “A Fan Blog” and we want to make sure that everyone who wants to is getting their voice.

Recently, we asked our Twitter followers to send us their mock drafts.  The rules were simple, we took the first five drafts we received as long as they covered all six of the Cowboys’ picks.

Mock Review:

These guys didn’t make too many risky picks.  In a world where Cowboys draftniks are starting to think the Cowboys might look at a skill position early, these guys stuck with the needs.

I can’t argue with any of these mock drafts.  Each targets an impact player that fits a specific need in the first round.  The question is if any of these players will be available.  Personally, I think both offensive guards will be gone and someone like Sylvester Williams will be the remaining prospect that makes sense.

Best Pick: Cooper/Warmack – If any of the offensive guards are still available, they’re locks for the Cowboys.

Best Fit:  Barrett Jones – A guy who can play every position on the offensive line.  He was a great offensive line prospect before injury and the Cowboys would be lucky to land him in a value round.

Best Value: DaMontre Moore in the second round – Moore was once a top-5 prospect but his pre-draft work outs have raised concern.  He has solid pass-rushing ability and would be a good rotational guy who can develop into a disruptive player as he matures.

Best Sleeper: Jordan Mills – Mills is a solid offensive tackle that no one is talking about.  Going to La Tech will do that for you.  Well balanced player with a high ceiling, the Cowboys are looking for the future at right tackle.  Mills can handle speed and power rushers but needs more consistency.  He may require coaching, but he’s still an excellent wildcard.

Player to Watch: Kyle mocked Marcus Lattimore in the fourth round and I think that would be exceptional value that the Cowboys couldn’t turn down.  Lattimore is an elite talent who suffered two bad leg injuries.  If he recovers, he’ll make teams pay for ever doubting him in the first place.

A huge thanks to the guys for letting us publish their mock drafts.  This is an exciting time of the offseason for Cowboys fan and we love to see what you have to say!
