Facing the New Orleans Saints this week should be a true test of where the Cowboys stand in the NFC. But for those of you that are on the verge of making the playoffs in your fantasy football leagues, I’m here to give you a few pointers on whose stock will be rising and whose will be falling in week 10. First of all if you have the Cowboys defense on you roster, go pick up a new one. Now I still think our defense is much better than what people have been saying. But the fact that Drew Brees and the Saints lost last week to the Jets, expect their high powered offense to be looking as sharp as ever when we face them on Sunday night.

On the offensive side of the ball there are a few Cowboys that should perform exceptionally well considering they will be going up against a Rob Ryan defense that should look familiar to Romo and company. Tony Romo is projected to score between 20-22 points with most of the targets going towards Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams. The last time these two teams met Dez had a spectacular day, so expect Ryan to have two guys on Dez at all times which could open up more touches for Beasley and Dwayne Harris.

Speaking of Dwayne Harris, if you are looking for a flex player to pick up for this week, Harris should at least be considered. With the extra passes coming his way and his explosiveness in the return game he could rack up some unexpected points this week. Also considering the Saints will primarily be focused on the Cowboys passing game, I would like to say the running game will become more involved in the game plan. But with only four carries by Murray last week its hard to convince anyone that DeMarco should start if you already have quality backs on your roster.

The x-factor of this game comes on the side on the Saints though. Darren Sproles is still a game time decision for the Saints due to the concision he suffered a few weeks back. If he does indeed play, look for him to have a big day on the ground and underneath passes. Dallas will be concerned with stopping the big plays that the Saints are so good at converting. If Sproles plays it could cause problems for the Dallas defense but could also be just the thing that propels your fantasy team to victory in week 10.
