Here’s to beads, and Bourbon Street! We’re headed to Louisiana. Or so I wish I was. Scheduled to play on primetime this upcoming Sunday night against the New Orleans Saints the Dallas Cowboys are about as healthy as one could hope.

While the Cowboys will still be without key players Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, and Randy Gregory, having players back such as Jeremy Mincey and starting guard Ron Leary, has to help. Right.

If the Boys can somehow leave New Orleans with a win, they will be sitting at 3-1 atop the NFC east when the reinforcements begin to arrive next week when Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain return from suspension.

The Cowboys are about as healthy as possible when the team travels to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Sunday night.

Here’s The Injury Report For Sunday Nights Matchup:

  • Bryant and Randy Gregory as expected are out.
  • Jeremy Mincey passed the concussion protocol, didn’t practice on Wednesday, but returned for full practice participation on Thursday and Friday.
  • Brandon Carr was a no-show for practice on Wednesday for personal reasons but returned on Thursday and Friday. Though listed as probable, will play.
  • Ron Leary, Jason Witten, Kyle Wilber and Ryan Russell are listed on the injury report, but practiced in full all week and will be available.

And now on to the Saints.

It was up in the air until Friday, but Drew Brees has been listed as probable, and it has been reported that he will start on Sunday. Guard, Jahri Evans, has been ruled out for the game.

Jairus Byrd, Brandin Cooks, Dannell Ellerbe and Keenan Lewis were all limited in practice throughout the week but are also listed as possible and are expected to play.

This week’s a bit different. Here’s to good health along with beads, boobies, partying and a Cowboys win. But don’t tell my wife about the boobies part.
