After watching the Cowboys spend two of their first three picks of the 2017 NFL Draft on cornerbacks, it's hard to imagine they'd be in the free agent market for another secondary member.
Star wide receiver Dez Bryant, however, seems to think adding another veteran could be useful to this current Cowboys bunch. Which veteran, you ask?
Only former All-Pro and Super Bowl champion Darrelle Revis.
Bryant took to Twitter this afternoon to publicly contact Revis, stating that Darrelle fits the culture which is being built in Dallas. A culture that is predicated on winning first and foremost.
@Revis24 Dallas? ….I promise you are going to love what we got going on around here..your attitude fits our culture…waiting…..

While I still highly doubt that Darrelle Revis finds himself in a Cowboys uniform any time soon, this was still an interesting tweet from Bryant for a lot of reasons. First, could it speak to a lack of trust in this young secondary group forming in Dallas from Bryant?
Personally, I doubt that, as we all know Dez has been singing their praises over the last few weeks.
I think this is more of an open invitation to those veteran players which may be looking for one last chance at winning a championship. If you are willing to come in, compete, and make the sacrifices necessary, then there will be a place in Dallas for you.
Like I said before, however, I doubt this is anything more than a fun headline over the weekend.
