By adding the dynamic Elliott at the running back position, the Cowboys organization can have flashbacks to the glory days of the 1990s. Super Bowls XXVII, XXVIII, and XXX all belonged to the Cowboys – thanks to the triplets of QB Troy Aikman, WR Michael Irvin, and RB Emmitt Smith.

With this pick, it’s now time to get Tony Romo and Dez Bryant their Super Bowl. To do so, they need their Emmitt Smith, which very well may be Ezekiel Elliott. Just ask the league’s all time leading rusher himself:

Tyron Smith, La’el Collins, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, and Doug Free, blocking for a back that Emmitt Smith says is better than Emmitt Smith. This is what we get to witness in 2016 and beyond in Dallas.

Yeah, we’re excited –
