Griffen is 6'3, 273 lbs. and has ideal size for an end rusher in the Tampa 2 scheme. His career has been a roller coaster and he never really hit his full potential. That being said, he is still a skilled pass-rusher who could be affordable.
Griffen would add a starter, or depth (draft depending), on a line that needs to bolster its rotation and especially its pass rush. DeMarcus Ware may never return to his dominant form and the Cowboys could use a young weapon to groom as his potential replacement.
