The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of their bye – one which they won – and they are very busy. The Cowboys have officially signed defensive back Leon McFadden to their practice squad.

McFadden was drafted 68th Overall by the Cleveland Browns in 2013, and the Cowboys are his fourth team in as many seasons. He spent time with the San Francisco 49ers in 2014 and the New York Giants in 2015.

The Dallas Secondary has been their greatest defensive strength this season, and now they have another body in case they need it. The hope is that cornerback Orlando Scandrick will return to action this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, but coming off a torn ACL in 2015 and a hamstring injury this season have compromised his status at times this season.

Dallas has managed to make interesting players work in the secondary over the last few years. Guys like Sterling Moore and Corey White have had some success, and hopefully Leon McFadden is able to if called upon as well.
