The Seattle Seahawks were looking like the Dallas Cowboys' projected playoff opponent for a while now, and the Week 17 games made it official. Now, the NFL has also confirmed when the two teams will play their first-round game.
The Seahawks will head to Dallas this Saturday, January 5th, for a primetime playoff showdown beginning at 8:15 pm EST.
The TV coverage will be on FOX. It's the only FOX game that weekend, which means we're sure to hear Joe Buck and Troy Aikman doing the coverage.
This means a short week for both Seattle and Dallas, which favors the home team. Dallas also played a little earlier today, getting a 1:00 start compared to the late afternoon for the Seahawks.
