We are nearing the end of the 2014 NFL Combine and one player is standing out more than any other Dallas Cowboys hopeful. Of course I am referring to the single best defensive tackle at the combine, Aaron Donald. He has impressed a lot of scouts and writers with his numbers during the workouts.

40 Time: 4.68 seconds (To put this in perspective, Johnny Manziel ran the exact same time.)

Bench press: 35 reps  (Only Kaleb Ramsey of Boston College had more in the DL group)

Three Cone Drill: 7.11 seconds (Kony Ealy had the best time at 6.83 seconds)

Many scouts have said that if Donald was 6’3″ or taller that he would be a top five selection and not a mid-late first round selection.

With that being said maybe Donald’s height will help out the Cowboys land their 3T tackle who can penetrate the line at will.

We will have a complete Combine wrap up after the workouts are over on who rose and who fell at the Combine.
