Plays Of The Week: Veteran Defenders Make Week 2 Impact

[tps_header]Each week, we will chronicle the top five plays of the Cowboys’ past game. This week, all five plays which will be shown contributed to a huge road win over the divisional rival Washington Redskins.

Unlike week one, where big plays were hard to come by, the Cowboys made impact plays on both sides of the ball during key moments of the game. Let’s re-visit those plays today, and continue the celebration of the first win of 2016. [/tps_header]

Against the New York Giants, Tyrone Crawford was nearly invisible. He couldn’t get off blocks, consistently got pushed around, and failed to make any impact plays.

Week two in Washington wasn’t great for Crawford, but he did come through when he was absolutely needed the most. With the Redskins looking to drive down the field and steal this win to break the Cowboys’ hearts, Tyrone Crawford executed his best pass rush of the day, beating the right tackle for a huge sack.
