Re-Dez-ulous: Dez Bryant Ranks 51st In NFL Top 100

If there were a gold medal given out to the person who has made the worst decision in the history of the universe concerning Dez Bryant then Dean Blandino would own it. The 2016 iteration of the NFL Top 100 takes home the silver, though. The annual list where players play prisoners of the moment dropped its first Dallas Cowboy on Wednesday when players #60 through #51 were revealed. Inside The Star loyalists will remember my predictions concerning the Dallas Cowboys I thought would make it and the final player on Wednesday’s episode was indeed Mr. Throw Up The X.

Score one prediction correctly for RJ!

If the NFL players, or the ones voting in this at least, legitimately believe that there are now or were at one point in recent history 50 players better than Dez Bryant then the next round of drug tests are going to breed severe consequences for many of them.

In one of the biggest shockers of all time, the only wise words spoken in this whole fiasco came from Washington Redskins Cornerback Josh Norman.

I’m not an NFL player so I don’t get to vote on this list, but I am a student in the Dallas Cowboys School of Dezness so I know that #88 is the truth. I also know that putting a 50-player sized chip on his shoulder is messing with something well beyond the control of any cornerback in the NFL.

The only thing more re-DEZ-ulous than Bryant’s place on this list is going to be the stat lines he puts up in 2016 to remind everybody just how good he is, which is a whole hell of a lot better than the 51st player in the NFL.

Throw Up The X.

On a scale of 1 to re-DEZ-ulous how silly are the NFL players for ranking Dez Bryant #51 on the NFL Top 100? Let us know! Comment below, Email me at RJ@RJOchoaShow.com, or Tweet to me at @rjochoa!

  1. Honestly the fact that fans are so mad about this is hilarious! I'm a huge Cowboys fan, and I was surprised that Dez even made this list. Firstly, taking a shot at Dean Blandino makes no sense? This is a list of players voted by THE PLAYERS! Not Dean Blandino. Secondly, this is a list that chooses the top players of 2016 based on 2015 performances. Dez is not above this exception. He was out 7 games with injury, came back banged up granted, and didn't have his qb. We know this, but he also had easy drops on plays that could've continued drives. So going by the lists criteria of why a player would be on it Dez doesn't fit the bill…just saying maybe fans shouldn't fired up about something so obvious.
