While expectations are high for Randle to fill the shoes of DeMarco Murray, Dez Bryant has stolen the show this camp with catches like this…

The first catch seen here was against Brandon Carr while the second is against Tyler Patmon – after the two had their scuffle.

On the defensive side of the ball, Byron Jones has looked good – getting snaps at corner as well as at safety.

After this rep at a CB drill, Jerome Henderson sent Byron Jones off to do reps with the safeties.

Rookie Randy Gregory has also been doing his best to dispute the “undersized” tag placed on him out of Nebraska, even by Bobby Belt on today’s episode of Cowboys Cast, by looking explosive in drills such as this!

It is worth noting in all of these drills the value of competition every day in training camp. Gregory and the defensive line have been working against the best offensive line in football, while Carr, Patmon, and Jones have all had their reps against Dez Bryant.

Competition makes players better, and these Cowboys should be battle tested by the end of camp!
