Top 4 Dallas Cowboys Team Needs Heading Into Free Agency 2014

Defensive Line:

With over 20 different coming and going, no position was hit harder by the bug. And even though there will be a couple of guys coming back from injury, this is still one of the biggest needs going into .

In order for this Tampa 2 to work this team has to get players that can pressure the QB. And we saw what happens when you don’t get pressure – you end up with a historically bad defense.

In my opinion, this defense works best when pressure is coming right up the middle. So quality Defensive tackles are a major need.

With the uncertainty of resigning with the team, and and Ben Bass being unproven, the could have two starting defensive tackles that aren’t on the team right now. One name that keeps coming up is Henry Melton, so don’t be surprised if that happens.

isn’t as unstable but not by much. I think the team keeps DeMarcus Ware but his health will be one of the biggest questions heading into .

Anthony Spencer will not be resigned in my opinion, and that’s due to a couple of reasons.

  1. First reason is Spencer had Micro-fracture , and
  2. the other reason is that overachieved

I loved what Selvie did last season, but I think he would benefit coming off the bench instead of being an every down player. We could see as many as two Defensive Ends signed once free agency begins.

What do you think?
