The Cowboys have one of the top receivers in the game right now in Dez Bryant. Cowboys did a good job in last year’s draft hitting on Terrence Williams out of Baylor in the 3rd round, who proved to be viable deep threat last year. With the likely departure of Miles Austin the only two receivers left on the roster to mention are Cole Beasley and Dwayne Harris.
While Harris provides top end returning ability he has shown he is a back up WR at best for Dallas. Cole Beasley does the right things, but at the end of the day his size and ability to separate is a concern. The overall depth of the WR core is pretty good but Dallas will probably need to still draft at least one in the upcoming draft. I am going to highlight the Top 5 receivers that can help Dallas at the appropriate position in the draft. I don’t think Dallas should even consider WR in the first so I will not be including the top tier WRs, rather the WRs Dallas should look to in late day 2, early day 3 picks.
