Is it football season yet? Well, not quite. That is not to say though that exciting things aren’t going on with the Dallas Cowboys! The 2016 draft class is settling into the reality that they will get to play for the best franchise in the NFL, with little time to waste before rookie camps open.

In fact, most of the rookies were already in the building as of yesterday, and took to Twitter to highlight their experiences. That is the focus of this week’s Cowboys twitter recap!

Charles Tapper and Kavon Frazier are ready to make an impact for Rod Marinelli’s defense, and you can see the excitement they felt just by landing in their new football city – a city that will gladly embrace the support they can provide to their respective positions, defensive end and safety.

Check out our Kevin Brady’s film breakdown of Tapper right here, and listen in to Frazier on a bonus episode of the RJ Ochoa Show here!

Jaylon Smith is also in the building for the Dallas Cowboys, and we were glad to hook him up with our star emoji! He’s looking good both in person and on Twitter, and is ready for what lies ahead in his path back to the football field.

It is pretty well accepted that, out of the entire Cowboys draft class, the player that will generate the most buzz and make the biggest immediate impact is none other than running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Elliott is expected to help the Cowboys recreate their new version of the triplets. Now knowing all of the Cowboys’ rookies’ jersey numbers, it didn’t take long for the triplets comparisons to branch into something more than on-field football play:

Pretty cool stuff. Of course, the most important number the original triplets gave us was 3. Three shiny Lombardi trophies. Now it’s time for Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, and Ezekiel Elliott to get their first! Hurry up football…

That will do it for this edition of Tweet Break! As the excitement builds for the players highlighted here, and the fans alongside them, continue to check back here for great analysis and updates involving America’s Team!
