If you’re reading this, I’m going to assume you love the Dallas Cowboys. Perhaps you even share in on the love for America’s Team on Twitter, as Cowboys Nation came together during this team’s most recent victory to tweet through 2016’s 13th win in 15 attempts.
Here are the best silver and blue related tweets to come out of #DETvsDAL.
QB Controversy…with Dez Bryant?
Amazingly, this was a completely meaningless game for the Dallas Cowboys, yet certain players wanted to prove themselves before the playoffs – and they did so, blowing past a good Detroit team.
Dez Bryant was spectacular, catching two touchdown passes from Dak Prescott while throwing a touchdown of his own to Jason Witten. Great things happened when the Cowboys’ best wide receiver touched the ball. Duh.

Bryant also moved his name up in the Cowboys’ record books with his performance, as he passed Michael Irvin for 2nd all time in team receiving touchdowns. The Playmaker himself weighed in on this massive accomplishment.
Michael Irvin on Twitter: “I shld put a congrats on passing me with his 66th TD 1st. Then say “THATS MY SON @DezBryant Wearing the 8’s like he was born 2 wear them” / Twitter”

Ezekiel Elliott Can Score the Rock Too…
While #88 was finding all kinds of ways to put up points for the Cowboys, their work horse running back in Ezekiel Elliott certainly didn’t disappoint either. Elliott broke off a 55-yard touchdown to put the Cowboys ahead 14-7 in the first, before scoring again in the third quarter at the goal line.

There was no Salvation Army kettle celebration for Zeke this time, but his mom did get up close and personal with Elliott’s famous prop from a week ago before the game – supplying us with this awesome tweet.

Can Chris Jones Play Linebacker?
We rightfully opened this edition of Tweet Break by talking about Dez Bryant and his play at
a position that he is probably better than Mark Sanchez at quarterback, and it wouldn’t be fair to not mention Chris Jones – tonight’s special teams MVP for Dallas.
Cowboys Nation on Twitter: “Punter Chris Jones out there doing JJ Wilcox impressions … stealing people’s souls. pic.twitter.com/cbhDkabkyn / Twitter”

Jones laid out this huge hit on the punt return, earning a shout out from the league’s coolest punter in Marquette King of Oakland.
For some time in the first half, it seemed like Jones’ service could actually be used by Rod Marinelli on defense, but the Cowboys defense rallied to shutout the Lions through the second half.
What is this Cowboys Pass Rush?
Speaking of that Dallas defense, a big reason for their second-half turnaround was a sustained pass rush that once again featured David Irving wreaking havoc off the edge. Just at the right time, the Cowboys are getting production from their full rotation of defensive linemen – many of which were not even on the field for this win.
Here are just a few thoughts on the guys that stepped up.
David Irving is a game-wrecker
