Cowboys Nation has had to tweet through too many sad moments recently. Twitter is a go to place for NFL fans to collectively come together and instantly share thoughts and opinions on anything going on that is pigskin related.

We used it as such to get through the Dez catch in Green Bay, the Romo injuries, and the ensuing backup quarterback play that often time made it hard to find words to justify their performances.

Well, in just two days, Cowboys’ fans everywhere will be able to happily live tweet the team’s season opener against the Giants. We’ve made it through the off season, and even got to take in a real game as a warm up last night.

The build up to the Giants’ visit to Dallas has covered everything from final roster cuts to fantasy decisions, all of which will be featured here on Tweet Break.

You ready? Get ready, it is football season!

The Final 53: Earning Their Stars

Not every player that set out this summer to battle the intense sun of Oxnard, California will get a chance to represent the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, as roster cuts naturally forced some tough decisions.

Of the players that will suit up in the silver and blue on Sunday, a few of them took to Twitter to express their gratitude.

Dak and Zeke Ready to Work

Amazingly, the Cowboys are entering 2016 with plenty of optimism despite starting a rookie at quarterback and running back. With plenty of offensive talent surrounding both Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, there is certainly reason for optimism.

Not only have Cowboys’ coaches and fans witnessed the all-around positive play of fourth-round pick Dak Prescott, but plenty of other neutral NFL followers have expressed their thoughts on just how great Dak has played thus far.

With the strength of the Cowboys being their offensive line, and the strength of the Giants’ defense being their defensive front, we’re in for a great battle between these two units – with plenty of eyes ready to watch Prescott and Elliott potentially give us a glimpse into the future of America’s Team.

A New Way to Show the Star

If you are looking to represent the Cowboys in the best way possible on Twitter this Sunday, and throughout the season, you should start by saving our Inside The Star team logo emoji.

However, now thanks to a new hashtag campaign launched by the NFL and Twitter, you can use the #DallasCowboys to automatically add the star to all of your tweets.

Tweet Break will continue throughout the season, so be sure to send in tweets that you feel need to be featured here each week. You can do so by tagging me in them @ShoreSportsNJ, or emailing links to Sean.Martin@InsideTheStar.com!
