Pantene Pro-V Celebrates the Next Generation of Strong, Beautiful Women
Brand Continues its ‘Strong is Beautiful’ Campaign with a New Video Series

CINCINNATI, OH (February 3, 2016) (NYSE: PG) – Pantene believes strong is beautiful and empowers women and girls by helping to build their confidence. The brand is furthering its ‘Strong is Beautiful‘ campaign by celebrating the next generation of strong women.

Research shows that quality time spent with dads is key in raising daughters who are more self-confident, self-reliant and more successful in school and in their careers. In an ongoing commitment to celebrate and enable women’s strength, Pantene partnered with NFL dads, New Orleans Saints’ Benjamin Watson, Pittsburgh Steelers’ DeAngelo Williams and Dallas Cowboys’ Jason Witten, to help give dads the tools to spend more quality time with their daughters – an act that helps foster confidence and strength in young girls.

Pantene is releasing a series of four how-to videos and one :30 ensemble commercial featuring Watson, Williams and Witten styling their daughters’ hair. Their Dad-Dos include the ‘Curtain Call,’ the ‘Who Dad-Do,’ and the ‘Daddy and Angel Bug’s Magnificent Pigtails.’

“Pantene celebrates and empowers women with our message of ‘Strong is Beautiful.’ We know strength and self-esteem start by building confidence in girls at a young age,” says Jodi Allen, Vice President of P&G Hair Care & Color for North America. “We hope our new series of how-to videos shows dads how easy and fun it can be to spend quality time with their daughters by doing their hair. The quality time spent with their daughters now will foster the next generation of strong and beautiful women.”

Just a bit of fun and a great way for some of these guys to show off the kind of men they are. Good for them. For convenience sake, I’m including the main promo and featured video for Jason Witten below. Enjoy.

Speaking from experience, and judging from the way he looks while doing it, Jason Witten agrees, trying to make a 3-year-old’s hair presentable is not as easy as it sounds! Anyway, just a little fun side-project for you to enjoy this brisk Thursday morning. #TGIAF
