This is the news Dallas Cowboys fans have been wanting to hear. Dak Prescott and the organization hadn’t had any discussions on a long-term deal since the exclusive franchise tag was placed on him March 16. However, things have picked back up.
According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Cowboys and Prescott have resumed negotiations on a new deal.

Earlier on Wednesday, a tweet from Liz Loza of Yahoo Fantasy Sports suggested Prescott was closing in on a four-year deal worth 35 million annually, and although no details of a new offer are known, the encouraging sign is that talks are back on.
According to Patrik Walker of CBS Sports, the length of the new deal and guaranteed money are the final issues to be ironed out, which he also reported on February 11. Stay tuned for more details.
