Well, wouldn’t you know it? For the first time all season, the Dallas Cowboys will enter their upcoming game in good health. Minus one gigantic piece — Tony Romo, of course. So now these questions need to be asked: Is it too little too late? Is the rest of the season for pride or playoffs?

The Cowboys currently have three players listed on their injury report. The above mentioned, Romo, along with Dez Bryant and Mo Claiborne who both managed to log full practices, had some interesting comments afterward.

When speaking with the media on Dallas Cowboys.com, Bryant mentioned that this is best that he has felt all season long. Dez has been limited in every practice since October; and to be honest, the results have, to a point, shown the lack of practice, health, etc. on the field.

If Dallas is going to continue with thinking of a playoff possibility, a healthy Dez will definitely help.

To most everyone’s surprise, Mo Claiborne has arguably been the Cowboys’ best corner this season. While Mo has not played the last two games because of a hamstring injury, he also mentioned in a recent interview that he was dealing with multiple ailments.

If Claiborne can, in fact, return, Byron Jones can return to his safety/do-everything role which in turn will greatly improve the Cowboys secondary.

So, barring any setbacks before Monday night’s matchup with the Washington Redskins, it’s your turn to tell me: Is it too little too late? Is this season being played out for pride or the playoffs?

  1. My ONLY team–Win or Lose– has been the BOYZ !! For 54 years they have been my ONLY team !! Ever so slowly, around the end of Aikman's era, the Cowboys get a 7 or 10 point lead and they STOP playing to win and start playing not to lose . Huge difference ! They are so PREDICTABLE !!! Get the ball , run it. Run it on 2nd down if need be. Pass on third. EVERY game.!!!!! Get some imagination! KIKK that ass from git to go . No let up! Play to WIN ! Mix up plays. Throw on first down at times. They KNOW your going to run it!! OH well– Win or lose, I will be their huge fan ! C'mon BOYS, GET R DONE !!
