The Dallas Cowboys moved up to the end of the 4th Round in the 2020 NFL Draft to select Center Tyler Biadasz out of Wisconsin. They traded their first of two 5th-Round picks this year, 164th overall, and their 2021 5th-Round pick to the Eagles to move up 18 spots.
Coincidentally, recently-retired Travis Frederick also played for Wisconsin.
Biadasz now joins the competition for the starting center job in 2020. The Cowboys also have 2019 3rd-Round pick Connor McGovern and veteran Joe Looney vying for Frederick’s vacated spot.
As we’ve seen throughout this year’s draft, the Cowboys again selected one of the best players available on many boards. This time, though, they didn’t want to take a chance on Tyler not falling to them the way CeeDee Lamb, Trevon Diggs, and Neville Gallimore have.
Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys, Tyler Biadasz!
