Dallas Cowboys Draft Tulsa CB Reggie Robinson 123rd Overall

With the 123rd pick in fourth-round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Reggie Robinson, cornerback.

After drafting former Alabama CB Trevon Diggs in the second-round, the Dallas Cowboys have decided to double dip at the position by taking Reggie Robinson with Pick 123. In Robinson and Diggs, the Cowboys have now covered themselves in the eventuality both Chidobe Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis to leave via free agency after the 2020 season.

The most interesting thing about Reggie Robinson is he has a background as both a safety and cornerback. It will be interesting to see how the Dallas Cowboys new coaching staff view him moving forward.

The Dallas Cowboys will be back on the clock with Pick 164 and again at 179 in the fifth-round. Stay locked into Inside The Star as we continue to update all the moves the Cowboys are making in the 2020 NFL Draft.

what was most interesting to me (and exciting!) was every one of our 1st SIX picks were seen as significant value relative to where they were selected versus where they were expected to go. Every player filled a need for this season and afterwards. Can’t wait to see all our new roster additions on the field whenever that is. WR3? Check!!! Replenish CB unit? Check!! Add to D line with DT & DE? Check! fill biggest need with starter-caliber Center? Check? Even got us a developmental QB, a McCarthy influence no doubt!

Diggs and Robinson cornerback tandem will be just what the doctor ordered for the backend of the Cowboys defense, down the road.
