It’s been an incredible rookie season for Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb. After being selected 17th overall by the Cowboys in the 2020 NFL Draft, he’s rewarded the Cowboys with a season that revealed the promise and hope of greatness that many thought he was capable of as one of the top wide receivers in the draft.
Amidst a rookie season that has been turbulent to say the least, Lamb partnered with Lowe’s to bring hope and encouragement to a local Dallas family just before his first Thanksgiving Day game with the Dallas Cowboys.
CeeDee Lamb, in partnership with the Lowe’s Home Team took the time to give back to this family with $50,000 worth of critical home repairs on this Dallas family’s home. In a surprise Zoom call with the family on November 10th, Lamb spoke to the family about his own experiences with a home that was in disrepair.

This family came to the attention of Lowe’s and CeeDee Lamb through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas. It was the family’s 15 year old daughter, who attends a Boys and Girls Club in Dallas submitted the family for consideration for the home repairs. Growing up, Lamb also attended Boys and Girls Clubs when he was a kid.
In addition to the critical home renovations, CeeDee Lamb provided the family with an autographed jersey, a handwritten note, and invited them to an upcoming home game. It’s the holiday season, a season of giving. And at the same time that CeeDee Lamb has been giving opposing defenses fits, he’s finding time to give back to the Dallas community. Helping to give this family safety and security in their home is a gift that is priceless.
